Terrain

• 50 Miles - Experience the challenge of a 50-mile trail race starting at Brighton Beach, weaving through the stunning South Downs to Beachy Head, and returning along the breathtaking coastline. With rolling hills, iconic cliffs, and scenic views, this race is a true test of endurance and a celebration of nature’s beauty.
• 50k - The 50k South Downs Trail Race starts and finishes at Brighton Beach, offering runners stunning coastal and countryside views. The route heads inland through rolling hills and picturesque villages, reaching Alfriston before returning along the dramatic coastline. A challenging yet rewarding race for all levels!
• 23k - Experience the thrill of a 23k trail race along the stunning South Downs, starting and finishing at Brighton Beach. The course winds through Castle Hill’s serene landscapes, loops past Saltdean, and returns via the breathtaking coastline. Expect varied terrain, sweeping views, and an unforgettable challenge!

Due to the nature of the event, it is not suitable for wheelchairs or prams.

While we adore our four-legged friends, we regret to inform you that dogs aren't allowed at this event. Your understanding is greatly appreciated!

Bag drop?

There will be an informal bag drop marquee within the event village for you to leave any belongings during the race. Please ensure your label is attached to your bag before dropping it off with our marshals.

Anything left within the bag drop is left at your own risk.
