East Yorkshire Half Marathon and 10k / Burton Constable Hall

By Car:

Burton Constable Hall is located just off Pasture Lane, just off the A165 between Hull and Skirlaugh.

As there are limited public transport routes, we recommend car sharing where possible, and arriving early in anticipation of any queues into the venue.

There is free parking on site, and will be sign posted from the entrance to the Hall. There will be marshals present to help you park on arrival.

Please note, as this is a road closed race, the road's around the venue will be shut at the following times:

Burton Constable Road – 08:30-12:30

Engine Lane, Crook Lane, Flinton Road – 08:30-09:40

West Newton Road – 08:30-10:00

Marton – 08:45-10:30

Lambwath Lane, Beverley Road, Hull Road – 09:00-11:10

Mulberry Lane, Langthorpe Road – 09:15-11:30

Ellerby Road, Skirlaugh Road, Long Lane – 09:20-12:00

Jackey Lane – 09:20-12:20

Please plan to arrive prior to 8:30 to ensure you can access the event village and the start of the race.

Any spectators should also plan to arrive early to ensure they're not caught out by the closures in place.

Public Transport:

The nearest train station is Hull. From here you can catch a 35minute taxi to the Hall.

Bikes:

You are more than welcome to cycle to the race, you can leave any bikes at the bag drop marquee, which will be staffed throughout the event.

Terrain

The course follow a road closed loop around West Newton and New Ellerby, starting and finishing at Burton Constable Hall.

Wheelchair / Pram Friendly?

We welcome buggy runners and wheelchair athletes and simply ask that you remain mindful of the runners around you and make yourself known should you need to overtake.

Are Dogs Allowed?

It is not permitted to run with a dog at this event however spectators are welcome to have their dog within the event village we simply ask they be kept on a lead at all times.

Bag drop?

There will be an informal bag drop marquee within the event village for you to leave any belongings during the race. Please ensure your label is attached to your bag before dropping it off with our marshals.

Anything left within the bag drop is left at your own risk.
