• By Train: Lisburn train station (5 miles away) and Moira train station (8 miles away) are located within close proximity to the Castle.

Car Park: Royal Hillsborough Castle And Gardens, Lisburn, Hillsborough BT26 6HR, located off Hillsborough road (A1).

The car park will be open from 6:45am. Please arrive early as it will take time to park and

walk to the event village. We recommend arriving at least an hour and a half before your

race time to avoid any delays. Car parking is free and disabled car parking spaces are available.

Blue badges must be displayed to use the disabled parking area.

Half Marathon: 9:00 AM

10K: 9:30 AM

5K: 9:45 AM

Terrain

The course will run through the Castle Gardens and Hillsborough Forest Park, then the 10k and half marathon will head onto closed roads before finishing back in the gardens. This course is multi-terrain.

Wheelchair / Pram Friendly?

Due to the nature of the course and its terrain and undulations this event is not suitable for buggy runners of wheelchair athletes.

Are Dogs Allowed?

Unfortunately only assistance dogs will be permitted within the Castle Gardens.

Bag drop?

There will be an informal bag drop marquee within the event village for you to leave any belongings during the race. Please ensure your label is attached to your bag before dropping it off with our marshals.

Anything left within the bag drop is left at your own risk.
